About us
When you visit the family business Järjagården, you will meet the daughter Sara, as well as Majlis and her partner Mikael. We originally come from Dalarna and moved to Västerbotten in 2015, to follow our hearts and dreams. To run our own business where we get to meet people, live in beautiful nature and devote ourselves to our interests – Hunting & Fishing, was what attracted us to move here. Järjagården is now part of our lifestyle!
Since we are a family business and always close by, we can provide our guests with good service. To visit Järjagården shall be like going to your second home, with a warm and friendly feeling. We always do our best to have both satisfied and returning guests. Welcome to us!
How to get here
With car you drive E45 from Vilhelmina on the road to Storuman, 26 km. Turn left to Storsele (sign Järjagården), 2 km. Järjagården is placed in the end of the village, to the right on top of a hill.
To visit the wilderness shall me simple. To Järjagården you can travel easily by airplane, directly from Stockholm to the closest airport in Vilhelmina. Please visit the gate into wilderness: www.southlaplandairport.com. It is also possible to fly to Umeå Airport, and then use a rental car for the last part of the journey.
Companies with rental cars such as Sixt, Hertz, Avis and Budget is available in many places. You can use AutoEurope or Expedia to look at prices for rental cars. In Vilhelmina you can hire a rental car at Bil och Fritid.
